Jenny Connell is originally from Shanghai, China and has been operating her business in Australia for more than 20 years as an Australian citizen. She is proud to be involved networking people and businesses between China to Australia. Jenny has established her business over the years in Australia and Shanghai, inviting Chinese people to visit Australia as part of study, business, or government delegations.
Jenny Connell has been a passionate and active ambassador for the local, state and federal government for the Chinese Community for the past 12 years. Vital to government in trade negotiations where Jenny’s role was to ensure due diligence is met on Companies wishing to invest or migrate to Australia.
Her focus for 2016 is building Migration Investment Opportunities for the City of Ipswich and Brisbane. Jenny has spent years helping Government and Industry on all multicultural issues, promoting Australia, as a destination for Asian Business and Tourism. Jenny Connell has been a passionate and active ambassador for the local, state and federal government for the Chinese Business Community for the past 11years and responsible for overseas investment in excess of $300M.
Jenny’s experience in matters of immigration, overseas investment, trade and policy has meant she has obtained trust from her influential connections and is able to close deals and develop community ties or mutual benefit of Australia and China. In this time there have been many projects and trade delegations which have been successful. Jenny’s most significant impact has been to establish new and strengthen existing ties between Chinese and Australian Government and Industry Leaders.
